ZENITH '08


Zenith '08 a great venture hosted by the English Association, and presented into the world of words, creativity, confidence and ingenuity was of course an emporium of inspiration and co-operation and also an amalgamation of imagination and enjoyment. It was a sumptuous arena for bringing out the talents that brim in the young ambitious hearts that always await to prove themselves.

The "Hunt for the Eagle" in its fourth consecutive year is to be held on 20th November 2008 at 9.30 am.

EVENTS:

  • ROCK-ON:
                                Stop talking
                                Start singing !
    Narrate any Shakespearean story through a song.Come up with your own lyrics and blend it with your favourite music.
       Rules

    • Instruments    :  optional

    • Participants    :  4-6

    • Time              :  10 minutes

    • Prizes             :  Rs.1000/- ,  Rs.750/-

  • AD-ZAP:
                                Creativity is just a mile away !

    Put to test your imaginative skills.Advertise a given product in the best innovative way.Come and Witness the “Survival of the Artistic.”
       Rules

    • Participants   :  Not more than 4

    • Time              :  5 minutes

    • Preparation    :  2 hours

    • The product will be given at the time of registration

    • Prizes            :  Rs.1000/- ,  Rs.750/-

  • MOCK-TALK

    A face to face talk-show with the greatest characters from the world of books. This is your chance to step into the shoes of those famous personalities. Let it be Dr.Faustus, Brutus, Cleopatra, Pamela....share your thoughts and experiences with us.
        Weightage given to:

    • Originality
    • Use of facts and literary terms.
    • Appearance and humour
    • Participants     :  2
    • Time               :  10 minutes

    • Prizes              :  Rs.750/- ,  Rs.500/-

  • Quiz-Wiz
                                The Battle Of the Brains!

    Activate your memory cells and be prepared to enter the whirlpool of literary knowledge. Get soaked in the brain teasing rounds.

    • One Team per College
    • Two members in a team

    • Prizes            :  Rs.1000/- ,  Rs.750/-,  Rs.500/-

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • No registration fee.

  • Participation of all events must be confirmed before Nov. 7 2008

  • All teams should report at the venue on time

  • Decision of the judges will be final and binding.
