The Annual general body meeting of Assumption College Alumnae was conducted on Saturday 31, July 2010. The Chief Guest of the occasion was Dr. George Onakkoor, who gave the inaugural address. His Grace Mar Joseph Powathil delivered the Benedictory Message. The distinguished Alumnae Award sponsored by the Chicago Chapter SBACAAC and instituted in connection with the Diamond Jubilee year, was awarded to Dr. Sr. Mary Litty LSDP of Providence Home, Kunnamthanam. Sr. Tresa Mary Memorial All Kerala Inter Collegiate Volleyball Tournament & 11th Assumption College Golden Jubilee Memorial All Kerala Inter Collegiate Basketball Tournament held from 16th to 19th August 2009.18 teams from all over Kerala participated in the Tournament. Assumption College won the Championship. In Volley Ball Tournament Alphonsa College Pala was the runner up and in the Basket Ball Tournament St. Xaviers College Aluva was the runner up.

Under the auspices of the Research & P G Department of History, an International Coins& Currency Exhibition “Numisma” was conducted on 14th-15th July 2009. The leading Numismatist and Philatelist of Kerala, Sri Sebastian Mathew displayed the exhibits. The Coins and stamps preserve old forms of writing, portraits of eminent persons and reproduction of lost works of art. They also assist in the study of early customs, in ascertaining date, in clarifying economic status and trade relations and in tracing changes in political attitudes.
It provided an excellent opportunity for the staff and students of the College to get a first hand knowledge about international numismatics.
