Miss. Rikku Varghese who worked as a Counselor in a De-addiction Cum Rehabilitation Centre(a Joint Project of IMA and Rotary Club) for three and a half years. Her duties as a Counselor entailed with the patients, families, conducting individual, group, family counseling, alcoholic anonymous meetings. Conducted various awareness classes at meetings in the Community, Youth clubs, Schools etc. both in and outside the district.

• Assumption College, Changanassery, Department of Human Resource Development proudly presented Youth Leadership Programme, Toastmasters International USA conducted by Creek Toastmasters, UAE chapter on 25^th August 2008 in the Pope John Paul II Indoor Stadium at 3.00 pm

• Mrs.Lovely Salim introduced the enchanting gateway to the wonder world of excellent communication and personality development to the students on the 4th June,2007. The demonstrative session was held in the college auditorium. The students got a quick glimpse of how they can change if their personality trends are enriched in the right direction. In the modern rat-race of excellence, there are no finishing lines. Personality is like a sword. You got to take it out of the hilt and let the brightness of training and practice shine upon it, to see it sparkle beyond compare! It was also an interactive session with a lot of student participation. Many of them volunteered to chase the FEAR BUTTERFLIES out of their bellies. During the course of the academic year the students will be subjected to lot of training and presentations ….
